Gosh Darn You RSV

My little baby is sicky...We noticed that earlier this week he wasn't feeling very good and then yesterday he woke up and wouldn't take a bottle so we called the doctor. At his appointment today she said that he had RSV. So our little Angel has to have breathing treatments 4 times a day. They didn't bring an infant mask for the machine so he is just breathing through the mouth piece until we can get a mask. He doesn't seem to mind it right now.

Kinder Times

Lunch recess is over and time to pick up the children. I am met at the door by the on duty aide...I know what that means...someone is in trouble. She informs me that a child in my class has been calling another child "chocolate boy"...my head falls...oh boy!

student: "Mrs. Schultz, you are skinny!"
teacher: "I am keeping you forever!" *hugs*

Life and Times in Kindergarten

During a lesson given by the SSS person (Student Support Specialist...aka counselor) on being good friends and bullying....A little girl in my class raises her hand and says "You shouldn't kill teacher and cats...you shouldn't shoot them, teachers and cats."
Sorry dogs, hamsters, moms, dads, principals, SSS people, and all the other people of the world. Only cats and teachers will be spared!

Oh to be back to work!

I Did It!

I went back to work on Monday and I managed to do it without any tears! That's not to say that it wasn't the hardest day of work ever! Luckily Landen is in good hands while I am at work, so there is no need to worry!
I am not looking forward to going back to work again tomorrow, but it must be done! It was great to see my kids at school and they sure did miss me! "Mrs. Schultz, you are so skinny and pretty" doesn't hurt either!! :)

HAPPY VALENTINE'S DAY!

I baked Brett a cake for Valentine's Day. I didn't realize it but I had never baked one before. It turned out to be pretty darn good and it looked decent too!

In other news I got my wedding ring back on today!! I may not be able to get it off, but it is BACK ON!!

And...the inevitable has happened. I have to return to work on Monday. The thought brings me to tears every time I think about it. I know that once I get back things will be fine, but I really hate leaving my baby and going back to taking care of other people's babies.
